Hybrow discovers hidden job markets in the North East
hybrow, the only graduate sales career consultancy in the North East, has been launched by Lee Durham and Richard, founders of durhamlane, a leading regional sales performance business.
Success relies on finding the best people and giving them the best training possible. hybrow finds those talented individuals, trains them and gets them into work. It is a completely new way for businesses to grow their sales team.
For graduates it’s an ideal start into working life. It’s their first step onto the career ladder which is crucial in today’s economic climate. For businesses it’s a cost effective and low risk approach to recruitment.
Graduate unemployment numbers in the UK are the highest since 1987. Unemployment figures released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) earlier this month reveal that the rate of unemployment among 21 year-old university graduates is roughly equal to that of 18 year-old school leavers, at 25 per cent and 26 per cent, respectively.
Looking at those numbers and with SMEs struggling to get the right people to grow their business, Lee Durham and Richard Lane, have spotted a real niche in the market.
Lee says: “We are passionate about raising the bar of the sales profession. By helping bright, enthusiastic and talented graduates into businesses we are confident we can not only improve individual's career prospects but also increase the region's economy by allowing companies to take on additional resource in a measured and reduced risk manner. “
Richard adds: “We select, train and match the brightest graduates with ambitious businesses that want to grow. Our unique training programme ensures on-going development whilst delivering value from day one. We are so confident in our approach we’re willing to underwrite our graduates with a satisfaction guarantee”.
All a graduate needs to do is log onto hybrow.co.uk and upload their CV. We use a Situational Judgement Test to evaluate applicants in order to identify the best fit. After an initial telephone interview, selected candidates will have a face to face interview. Then, we place the graduate with a business opportunity.”
Kevin Beales, from the Test Factory, one of hybrow’s customers says: “All of the sales graduate professionals provided by hybrow are enthusiastic, dedicated and excited to learn. This has led to us increasing the number of sales graduates we intend to hire as part of our future strategy.”
